Techno, Poetry in Motion Blog

Well, it seems like people who like techno really LOVE techno. Most of them, like me, are former ravers who still enjoy an occasional (sober and clean) party. It is a feeling like no other to get to stand up against a speaker and feel the beat running through your body. It is an all-consuming emotion-generating experience that only brings back good memories in my mind. I have only been dancing to techno music at the last supper club, but it was awesome because it was most of the old raver crowd all grown up and moved on with their lives, but they still love the music, and something about that will connect us for a long time to come.

I have just discovered this band called BASSHUNTER!!!, I am in love with their music. It reminds me of what was popular at the naf studios about 5 years back. It is hard house and trance, and if you want to get a taste of their music, go to THIS WEBSITE. I think you'll really like it, they are a great trance/techno group from Sweeden, and they seem to have a lot of fans so they must be doing something right.

it goes from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am, and is a non-stop partay!
This is not for the light techno fan, however, industrial techno is a hard blend of industrial sounds and this is how wikapedia defines it:
Industrial techno is a cross between power noise, traditional industrial, and techno. It often resembles house music in structure, while keeping the harsh sounds, noises, and fast pacing of industrial music. Although sampled and processed guitars are not uncommon, lyrics and a verse-chorus-verse structure are very rare.

ShowBox: This seems to be the most true and valid techno venue for tonight, their hosting the big A@$ party that happens once a month, they have four turntables, and i believe that it is 18+. If you want to experience techno at its very best, come enjoy house, progressive, and the best breakbeats seattle has to offer! Event: Check it out!

DJ Paul Oakenfold has teamed up with Acress Brittany Murphy to create a new fusion sound in the song "Faster Kill Pussycat". You can listen to the song on Dj Paul Oakenfold's myspace.
